“Visitors will want to know who is on the other side of the page.”
I read somewhere the about page is the second page people go to when they visit a blog. I didn’t even know people still read blogs.
TL;DR
I am a dutch lady writing about anything and everything. Migration, personal finance, backpacks, life, journaling, konmari, stoicism, books i’ve read. You get the picture.
“Why are you doing this blog?”
I had created a lovely space for myself at Tumblr. There were posts of my own, but also some lovely gifs reblogged. I gained a few thousand followers. It was nice! Then life happened and I couldn’t keep it up. Somehow, in the flurry of events I hooked my Tumblr up to 2FA authentication. I lost that way of authenticating and I simply cannot get back onto that Tumblr anymore. I missed that lovely space for myself.
I decided to create a new space somewhere where I would have a little more features. I needed more ways to organise my posts. I didn’t feel like getting a new domain.
